Biography
Hailee Kathleen Harris was crowned Young California Teen All American 2011, on May 15, in San Diego, California. Hailee is an enthusiastic and energetic 14 year old young lady who is enjoying her freshman year in High School. She is looking forward to taking college preparatory classes which will enable her to obtain her goal of becoming a psychologist or counselor for the pediatric patients at the City of Hope. Hailee’s favorite saying is “I’m just getting started!”
Hailee has enjoyed being in the spotlight since her first dance recital when she was 3 years old. During elementary school, Hailee performed at talent shows singing her favorite songs. Hailee enjoys public speaking, attending grand-openings, working with the local fire departments and helping in any way she can throughout the community.
During the 8th grade, Hailee was the unfortunate recipient of bullying from a couple of boys at school. As a result, Hailee has decided that she wants to raise awareness about bullying and has made it her platform. She has begun taking self-defense classes and plans on speaking at elementary schools around California to help young children understand that they are not alone and that there is assistance available to them. |
